Studio Addition from Outside

Studio Addition from Inside

Country Cottage
Remodeling this “little red house” posed some unique architectural challenges. For one, the outside of the home is a Country Cottage, while the inside is Tudor Manor style making it necessary to design based under those criteria. Also, the art studio addition needed to be constructed at an off-angle to the home in order to visually frame a large oak tree while looking through the double wide doors.

Hillside Drive
This Country French style home was designed with additional angles to provide an ample presence at the prominent end of a court location, atop a sloping lot. Though very large, the architecture maintains a cozy look and feel.

Carriage Hill
The Contemporary Mediterranean style of this home in Pleasanton is the base for some beautiful added features. Classic brick and Corbel detailing was used to accent the tile roof, with a wrought iron balcony off the second floor to oversee the hilltop views. The angled entryway was positioned to open into the large vaulted ceilings of the main hall.

The extension of the overhang on the front porch provided sun protection on the south facing rooms. The remodeling also included handicap accessible entries into the home.
